Account and Data Deletion
Use this page to start deletion of your TourMates account and associated personal data.

Request account deletion
The button opens a pre-addressed email to Blooom Labs. Send it from an email address where you can receive our verification reply.
If the button does not open your email app, write to hello@blooomlabs.com with the subject “TourMates account deletion request.”
1. What to include
- Your TourMates display name.
- The city and country shown on your profile.
- Whether you use TourMates on iPhone or Android.
- Your approximate account creation date, if known.
Do not send a password, government ID, full payment card number, or sensitive photo unless we specifically request a safe verification method.
2. How we verify the request
TourMates may use device-based account identifiers. We will compare the details in your request with the account and may ask you to confirm profile details or complete a verification step from the device linked to the account. We will not delete an account until we can reasonably verify the requester controls it.
3. What gets deleted
- Your profile, bio, photos, age, gender, and location details.
- Your travel plans, discovery preferences, likes, and matches.
- Your messages and chat images from active service systems.
- Device identifiers, push tokens, and subscription links associated with the account, except where retention is legally required.
Some information may remain visible to another person if they copied or saved it outside TourMates before deletion. Aggregated or fully de-identified information may remain because it no longer identifies you.
4. What may be retained
- Purchase, tax, chargeback, and accounting records for up to 7 years.
- Safety reports, enforcement history, and evidence of serious abuse for up to 5 years, or longer under a legal hold.
- Records required to prevent fraud, protect users, resolve disputes, or comply with law.
- Encrypted backup copies until they expire, within 90 days.
Retained data is restricted to the stated legal, accounting, fraud, or safety purpose and is not used to operate a public dating profile.
5. Timing
We aim to acknowledge requests within 7 days and complete verified deletion within 30 days. We will tell you if a complex request or legal requirement needs more time. Backup copies may take up to 90 days to expire.
6. Cancel VIP separately
Deleting your TourMates account or uninstalling the app does not cancel a VIP subscription billed by Apple or Google. Cancel VIP in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings before the next renewal date.
